PCTGA

Prairie Christmas Tree Growers? Association

Successful Christmas tree growers in the province are members of the Prairie Christmas Tree Growers' Association

The goal of the PCTGA is to ensure growers get the information needed to successfully grow Christmas trees. It is a growers organization controlled by the members and relies on the volunteer efforts of it's members.

Services to members include:

  • Field days, held at different plantations each summer, allow growers to see what other farmers are doing, and to discuss ideas, questions, and concerns.
  • Resource Library contains literature and videos on growing and marketing Christmas trees.
  • Regular news updates on provincial (PCTGA) and national (CCTGA) happenings plus a subscription to Christmas Trees Magazine are sent to members.
  • Prairie-hardy Christmas tree seedlings available at cost
